Is the Adobe Signature a legal signature in the remedy of the Federal I-9 Form in a self audit?

There are specific items that the USCIS requires for an electronic signature on the Federal I-9 Form, but there is no specific information regarding electronic signatures when doing an audit and remedy of a Federal I-9 form. 

I am looking for information on whether or not the edit features (like strike through) and an adobe electronic signature could be used to remedy a properly stored electronic version of the Federal I-9 form?

I tried reaching out to USCIS, and they were not much help.  They just said the electronic signature had to follow the qualifications as listed in their Handbook for Employers.
