How to print or otherwise convert e-signed document to flat pdf as required for filing with USPTO?

I'm unable to print e-signed document (returned by adobe-sign) to a flat pdf in windows 10 -- evidently a security setting within the e-signed document.  I require the flat-form pdf (i.e., no embedded certificate) for electronic filing with USPTO. Any suggestions?

Apparently can print hardcopy (and then scan back to flat pdf), but that seems like a silly workaround.  Mac users evidently can print to flat pdf using Preview ... also, I occasionally receive Docusign documents and have no problem printing to flat pdf using adobe printer or cutepdf.
