certificate chain recognised but not trusted
I'm trying to use an existing personal certificate to sign .pdf documents. With help from a highly knowledgeable colleague, I've got as far as adding a certificate chain … but Acrobat is still not happy.
The details tab for the certificate highlights problems with two areas:
basic constraints CA: Yes Path Length Constraint: None
key usage Sign CRL Sign certificate (CA)
The trust tab for the certificate says nothing is allowed, and won't let me add the certificate to Trusted Identities.
How can I sort this out?

Password protect changes but NOT open?
Forever I have been using the Properties>Security option to password protect CHANGING a document - allowing printing but disabling copy of text. I do NOT select password to open. But now sometimes in DC after I set the security as above it still asks people for password when opened. Although hitting cancel allows you in anyway. Weird. Its almost like when opening these problem PDFs it detects an instant change of some sort and asks for permission. But then lets cancel be used anyway in the password field. Any thoughts?

how to prevent other people convert pdf files to other formats
Please can anybody show me how to prevent other people convert pdf files to other formats? Such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and so on.
Most of the time, when I was providing identity document as pdf format to organization, i would add watermark to it, such as " This [Name of the Documents] is dedicated for authenticating my identity in [organization]; I do not give My permission for any other use and also can not be copied " ......... in this case, does pdf have any features to delete its content within a period of time (such as 7 days, 15 days or 30 days. Can not be over 30 days)? Since I do not want organization to keep my Identity document forever, even if they promised to be deleted, I still do not trust them.

How to have multiple digital signatures in a document and then lock the document
Hello, I have a document that needs to be digitally signed by two people. The digital signatures need to be invisible and the document needs to be locked to prevent future changes. How can I do this?
My second question is that I have had signed documents in the past that, upon opening, always indicated that there are problems with signatures, but then when I click validate, all signatures are found to be valid. Is there any way to have everything be valid as soon as the document is opened without having to validate all the signatures?

Why the digital sign done with Adobe Reader is considered not valid or non present if I verify the signed pdf with another software for the digital signature?
I'm trying to do a digital signature with adobe reader (pades signature, extension .pdf). When I verify my signed document with Adobe, re opening it, everything is ok, it tells me "valid digitale signature". But when I verify the document with another software for the digital signature (for example: aruba sign, ****) it tells me that the signature IS NOT VALID, or NOT PRESENT. Which is the problem of the adobe signature?

ERROR: This document is locked. Your permission to view it has expired.
Hello,
I've been trying to find a workaround to open a PDF document that's displaying the message "this document is locked. your permission to view it has expired"; i've tried using PDFunlock.com, opening the document in Word as a Word document, installing Adobe Acrobat and using that to open the file, and i've tried setting my computer's time and date backward to an older date. I'm still unable to open this document as is everyone else who's tried it (and similar files). We generally are running Windows 7 and 10 Enterprise machines with Adobe Reader xi, and Office 2016.
This is an "issue" with the document itself and not my Adobe Reader software as i can open other PDFs without issue-it seems to be a valid security feature that we cannot seem to move past. There are many of these "expired" PDF files that i need to open at my company-the previous gentleman left the company and left these files behind with no way for us to seemingly work with them. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. :-)

"Retrieving your information" bug, when trying to sign.
Hello.
I used to put facsimile in Acrobat pro, and it was perfect.
Click "fill&sign" then sign and pick up the image with signature and stamp.
Now, when i'm opening "fill&sign" on the panel on the right, the window freezes with "Retrieving your information" and nothing happens (screenshot is attached).
Then when i'm trying to sign and clicking "Sign", loading status (squares) also freezes without further changes.
Could you please support on this?

Es gibt bei mindestens einer Unterschrift Probleme. Warum? There are at least two signature problems. Why?
Die Gültigkeit der Unterschrift sei unbekannt. Warum? Seit dem update tritt dieses Problem auf!
The validity of the signature is unknown. Why? The problem is there since the last update!
Die Identität des Unterzeichners sei unbekannt, weil sie sich nicht in der Liste der vertrauenswürdigen Zertifikate befindet. Warum? Hat doch bis zum letzten Update alles funktioniert!
The signatures identity is unknown, because of not being in the list of the trustable certificates. Why? Until the last update everything was in order!
