I will be sending a PDF out to my company and I would like to have the option of using the e signature, but I would like to avoid having employee setup a digital ID. Is there a way around that and a way to allow employees to sign it and how do I set that up before distributing it?

Security! I can copy highlighted text with "Content Copying: Not Allowed"!

Flatten and protect architectural drawings
We have large architectural drawings marked up with various comments. I need to be able to flatten and protect the document so that no one can change those markups. I used Flatten Annotations and Form Fields in PDF Fixups from Preflight. Because I am still able to go in and edit the markups in Pro after it has been flattened, I then added security with Encrypt with Password. This locks the file down from any changes, but now the file size has nearly tripled. Is there any way to protect these files without increasing the file size - they are already huge to begin with (even after optimizing)?

Why I can one click delete digital signature from a protected document?
Good day!
I have signed some test pdf document with a digital signature.
As you can see on a picture the document is totally protected from any modification.
Now I go to a signature panel and rightclick my signature.
There is a Clear Signature option, which do what it says - deletes my signature and make document editable again.
So the question is, why the locked down and certified document is 2 clicks away from editing right in your software?
I know, there is plenty shady apps that breaks pdf security in seconds, its a disaster but we live in it.
But how come that your own software is capable of such things?

Digital IDs Popup not showing
Hi. I'm trying to sign a document and when I go to configure my digital IDs, I'm getting a black overlay as if something is supposed to pop up but I'm getting nothing. I think something is blocking the popup but I don't know what. Please let me know what info you need to troubleshoot and I can provide it ASAP. Right now, I can tell you I'm on a Mac and the version of Acrobat Pro DC I'm using is 2018.011.20035. Thanks.

Bonjour,
Je rencontre actuellement un problème, je souhaiterais mettre en place pour mon entreprise un système de modification et annotation de document.
J'aimerais qu'il soit possible d'annoter un PDF (signature, écriture, annotation...). Ensuite celui-ci serait enregistré avec les annotations cependant j'aimerais que lors de la réouverture du document la personne puisse toujours ajouter des annotations mais sans pouvoir modifier les ancienne annotations.
Je ne sais pas si cela est possible.

Digital ID expiry
Is it possible to edit the expiration period of a digital certificate created through Acrobat? I need a certificate with an expiry of no more than 3 years but the default seems to be 5 years and I see no way of editing it.

When applying hand written signature, page must be magnified to at least 77% in order to select a signature?
When attempting to apply a hand written signature to a document page, the page cannot be magnified less than 77%. If the page is less than 77% and the signature icon in the Tool bar is selected at the top of the page, the signature can only be typed in and no saved signature appears for the selection. If the page is magnified to over 77% and the signature icon in the tool bar is selected, a dropdown of hand written signatures available for selection appear. Is this correct or am I missing a setting somewhere? This is on the most recent Adobe Pro DC update.

I need to deactivate or cancel a share link. Link share granted too much access
Trid to share a single folder ot Adobe documents stored in one drive. Link accessed too many unintended folders. Need to reactivate link so taht person shared with n linger has access to files.

Is it possible to disable metadata in reader DC?
I know the "remove hidden information" tool and how to delete metadata there but I am trying to mitigate a security concern and I was wondering if I could permanently disable metadata when creating a file in Acrobat Reader DC? Is there a user setting or preference that I can choose to turn off metadata creation so there is never any metadata once the file is saved?

Spinning Wheel on Fill & Sign
In Adobe Acrobat Pro DC when opening a document, going to Fill & Sign > Sign, a blue spinning wheel shows up and won't go away.
Happens for multiple PDF documents. Using latest version of Acrobat (checked for updates). Computer has been restarted, Acrobat reinstalled, %AppData% paths temporarily renamed. Very frustrating, nothing seems to allow the usual signature to appear.

Missing Templates and Signed Documents after Migration to New Version
After Adobe decided to change the interface for the e-sign application, and migrate our data to this version, we are missing many templates and documents. We opened a ticket for this problem, but no one came back to us with an answer. This is very irresponsible behavior. Do you realize that people and businesses trust your services for legal matters, and you ended up losing their documents when you upgrade your software? As far as I understand from your support, several users have got impacted with this change, and you are looking into solving the problem. But it is taking too long and your business decision is interrupting our businesses. This is unacceptable and should go viral.

enable acrobat pro 2017 to automatically add the syntax -signed to a filename when choosing save as after adding a signature or initials to a pdf
In the past our customer used Acrobat Pro (prior to 2017 version) and when they signed a document using FIll & sign when they choosed save as the document would get saved like: filename-signed.pdf
Since installing Acrobat Pro 2017 the signing feature still exists and works however the files are no longer saved with the syntax -signed in the filename.Is there a configuration i have to look at / change to make this functionality work again?

Redaction right-click context menu doesn't show up with latest update
Today, I received the latest update to Acrobat Pro DC. I redact regularly, and noticed this morning that the right-click context menu to choose your redaction codes does not appear. After you redact an item, you can right click and choose "Properties" and still select your code sets manually, but you do not get the code sets to appear in the right-click menu directly, which is how Acrobat Pro DC has always performed, and still performs on one of my machines that I have refused to permit the latest update on. Therefore, I believe this is a bug. I've asked their tech support, which resulted in 2 frustrating conversations, and finally convincing one individual that he "is unable to solve the problem" and will escalate the issue. Has anyone else seen this issue? I am almost certain it is a bug. I've attached the right click menu below that SHOULD appear, this was taken today from Acrobat Pro DC right before the update. Note the bottom after PROPERTIES, specifically including the US FOIA and US Privacy Act code sets, those are not appearing at all after the update in the right-click menu despite all code sets being populated in the properties.

Is there a way to place a box that a person can sign using a touchscreen?
I know about adding a place for a digital signature, but we all have touchscreen computers and would like to have the ability to have a person sign forms on our screen using a stylus. We have Adobe Acrobat DC, so we were wondering if we could create a file with a box that would allow that to be possible.
