Create a PDF from Word wich as the forms and signes enabled by default in Adobe Reader.

Hi, ist possible to create a PDf form Word wich as the "More tools" enabled by default?

Usually I have to re-save the pdf once created using this menù:

File > Save as Other > Reader Extended PDF > Enable More Tools (includes form fill-in & save)

I would bypass this step creating a PDF already enabled for Adobe Reader directly from Word -> Create PDF

Is it possible to do?

I did not find anything about it in the printing preferences.

Thanks a lot.

Can't digitally sign document with pasted password

This seems to be a bug in the most recent Acrobat DC (tested on MacOS):

Attempt to add a digital signature to a form, using a Digital ID file with password

Paste in a password from a password manager

The "Sign" button remains greyed out and inactive

As soon as you type in the field, the "Sign" button is activated - current workaround is to paste in the password, add and delete a space.

"Send for Signature" tool has disappeared

I recently updated to the latest version of Acrobat Pro DC from Creative Cloud, and the "Send for Signature" tool seems to have disappeared. I've looked through the forum and see other threads dating to 2017 about this issue, but nothing recent, and none of the suggestions in these threads have resolved the problem. Any idea what is going on or how I can get the tool back?

Trust manager - issue with digital sign

Hello,

I have some problems with one of my laptops.

When i open PDF file with digital sign I see that : https://i.imgur.com/4DJci9H.png

I already know that should mean that Acrobat sign database is not updated. So I go to Trust manager and click this buttons: https://i.imgur.com/Lf0XwYp.png.

But nothing is happening. On rest of my laptops (where digital sign is verified automatically), when I click on "Update now" (in polish "uaktualij teraz") I get information about update completion...

But On this laptop - nothing ... https://i.imgur.com/rEZQ2ru.gifv

I already try :

reinstall Acrobat DC,

turn of firewall and antivirus

change internet access point

Any Ideas ?

Hello to everyone!

I have a signed document and I want to change the security in order to protect it from copying and editing (but with no password).

When I click to change security parameters, I get the following message:

What can I do?

Specifiying Signature Type per Signature Field

Hello, I've got a group using a form with two signature fields. One for their client to sign using a signature pad (Topaz T-S460), and one from them to sign with a standard digital signature. Is there a way the fields can be set to these signature types? Trying to eliminate the drop down to choose between the pad and their digital signature.

Anyone else have this problem?

Is there something I missed?

Adobe Pro blacking out secure signature

Hi

I am a realtor and use Adobe Pro DC and a program through our mls called Authentisign.

I had a  document that was signed through authentisign and when printed on both my office and home computers would black out the signature.

When other people printed it, it would print correctly.

In doing some research, there was a similar issue on an adobe forum where the person was told to print as image--so I did.  It worked.

What would be causing the signatures to be blacked out?  I have printed other documents created from the same program, and have never had an issue.

When printing, you can go to advanced and it looks as if a black sheet of paper is put over the document.  When you print as image, there is nothing blocking the document.

Anyone have any ideas?  At least I have a work-around, but as I have said I haven't had any issues in the past.

Thank you all for your help!

AATL and EUTL update button not working

Hello,

I have trouble updating (and with that, receiving) AATL and EUTL lists.

When I press the "Update now" button in Trust manager, nothing happens. Thanks to this, all signatures look invalid on the computer.

Notes:

- Issue present on 2 computers (possibly more) I have tried the proposed solution in a different thread (using Adobe cleaner tool and reinstalling) on both device but it didn't help.

- Both run Windows 10 64-bit, other devices of the same type and connected to the same network don't have this issue.

- On one computer the issue is present both in Acrobat Reader DC and Acrobat Pro DC.

- I have contacted Adobe Tech Support but they didn't know how to help me. (I can provide case number via DM, but I have written all necessary info here)

Thank you in advance for any ideas how to solve this issue.

P.S. I am reposting my issue because the other thread is marked as 'solved'.

Is there a way to continue to edit a PDF once it gets signed? I have delveloped a PDF that requests a signature as a requisitioner. This is to just start the process. The form still needs to be finished filling out.

Create a new digital ID - passwords do not match

$

When creating a new digital ID in Adobe Acrobat X on Windows 7 computer, after entering the new filename where the ID is to be stored and password, I get a message box: "Passwords do not match".

I have gathered the following information about creating digital IDs in Acrobat:

Acrobat help which says: "Type a password for the digital ID file. For each keystroke, the password strength meter evaluates your password and indicates the password strength using color patterns. Reconfirm your password."

A forum post which says: "6. Now enter the password in two places as instructed. "

I also watched a video how the person was inserting the password when creating a new digital ID, she had two text boxes to enter it. Screenshot from the video is here:

sign.JPG

But when I try to do the same, I only have one field to enter the password. Here is a screenshot from my computer after clicking "Finish":

sign3.JPG

Does anybody know how to make the second password field appear, so I can confirm it and get rid of the "Passwords do not match" message and finally create the digital ID?

When I am trying to send a document in the Send For Signatures options I am getting an error message saying "An error has occurred.  Please try again."  My account is current with the correct email address linked but nothing I am doing seems to fix the issue.  Any tips as to how I can fix this so I can send forms to be signed?
