Can't complete a PDF form which is indicating I need to use Adobe LiveCycle Designer
Hi,
I can't complete a PDF form I received which has a pop-up that reads "This form cannot be edited in Adobe Acrobat. Please use Adobe LiveCycle Designer to edit this form."
I am not the designer of the form, rather I am the recipient of this form which I received from an organization that has requested that I complete it.
Don't know how to resolve this in order to complete filling in the form. This is not the first time I have received a PDF form from an organization that popped up a similar message when I attempted to complete the form.

Pb enregistrement signature numérique

Je rencontre des difficultés pour bon nombre de mes utilisateurs à l'utilisation de signature numérique avec des certificats AATL (toekn usb fonctionnant avec driver safenet globalsign).
Voici un bref descriptif de mon infra;
Mes utilisateurs travaillent sur une ferme RDS windows serveur 2016 de 4 serveurs et enregistrent leurs document PDF sur des chemins DFS (windows 2016 également).
il se produit de manière complètement ponctuelle et néanmoins régulières des erreurs lors de la signature après la saisie du mot de passe.
Le message d'erreur est le suivant :
Le problème ne se produit pas lorsque l'on enregistre sur le bureau, mais il arrive que lorsque l'on enregistre sur le chemin réseau le problème se produise.
J'ai pas mal regardé sur le net mais le message d'erreur ressort assez peu.
Est ce que vous avez une idée ?

Redacting an embedded file from a pdf
I have a large pdf of several emails. Some of the emails have attachments.
I am looking to redact some, but not all of the email attachments. when I try to go into the actual attachment to redact, it shuts down my adobe acrobat dc. When I try to just redact one attachment without opening it, the tool removing all the metadata flattens the file so I can't open any attachments.
Is there some way to redact portions of emails and some but not all attachments?

How do I know my digital signature is valid and legally binding ?
As being said by Adobe, Adobe Sign follows industry compliance such as eIDAS . But how does it reflect on my signed documents ?
I have tested it by sending a sample document to other recipient (actually my email as well) and sign normally but I couldn't see any kind of proof to guarantee it's legally binding plus industrial compliance. Only thing that might help is I could navigate to a page verifying existing transaction.

batch securing
I need Acrobat DC to lock many pdfs at once. I can't figure out how to get it to just lock them and not ask me if I want to replace each one. I have hundreds to do so that is not feasible to click so many times. I tried creating the Action for it, but program still wants to all these mouse clicks to save them. I had Acrobat 10, which did that with no problem. I wish I had the old version back.

Digital Signature does not Print
We have a measurement software that applies the digital signature (using the digital signature certificate) when the pdf is created. The signature shows on the pdf on the screen, but does not show in the print preview screen nor does it actually print. I have tried selecting Document & Stamps and Document & Markups, but it still does not print nor show in print preview. What could be the issue?

Unable to send documents for signing
I am using 2015.006.30482 on Windows 10 and after a recent Adobe update the ability to send documents for signing has disappeared. There is no longer an "Adobe Sign" tool either.

Trying to Encrypt a PDF file with a password
When attempting to password protect a PDF, I get the message "You cannot change security on this document because this document is signed or certified." Is there any way to do this (password protecting) with a signed, certified PDF? (Adobe Acrobat Standard 2017)

security level too high warning
Today I get a warning that my security level is set too high when trying to convert a MS Word file to PDF with my adobe XI. Never happened before. Restarted server, still happening. Its asking me to run the application that created the file and in the security warning dialog box choose "always trust macros from this source". Problem is I do not get that warning dialog box. Ive looked thru word and I dont see anywhere to add adobe macros to. Nothing has changed from yesterday when I had no trouble using it. No updates nothing. Any suggestions? Im using MS Office 2016 on a windows 2012 server and I use Adobe Pro DC.

Convert to PDF via the Create PDF Toolbar is allowing print of an encrypted email
In testing our new Outlook encryption tool, I had sent an encrypted / do not forward / print email. When I opened the file I did the usual testing. File Print, Forward, View.
Results: I can View it (as expected), Forward - not an option, and if I select File - Print I get a blank page. If I say File - Print to PDF - I get a blank page. If I use the Create PDF Toolbar and say Convert webpage to pdf I CAN. That's not good. Are there any additional settings somewhere that would stop that from happening when received by an email recipient? I certainly can't tell what they have on their system, so would like to make sure.

Digital signatures not displaying
I have Adobe Acrobat Standard 2017 and have some forms that were filled out using an iPad with actual signatures using the touch screen. When I open the file in Adobe Reader - everything is fine. But when I open the file with Acrobat all the signatures disappear.

However if i PRINT the same PDF the signatures will print.
I already tried going to View > Show/Hide > Navigation Panes > Signatures and it shows them all as blank unsigned signature fields.
I assume this has to be a display issue but I can't figure it out.

How to prevent printing of password protected document
A customer password protected a pdf and thought it would also prevent it from printing. But when it's opened in Firefox, you can still print. How do you prevent this action?

Can people find orginal author of pdf file?
Can people find orginal author of pdf file? I created pdf file (by printing word doc in pdf format), saved in my home computer, then use free metadata editor to change author/creator of the file, but can people (with computer knowledge) can still find out who the original author was? (if not the name, the computer used or IP address, etc.)? Thanks.

Clicking the Sign button does not do anything
I'm not sure what happened. I had a pdf with a user signature field and I used to be able to add my digital signature into it. Today, I received a prompt in Adobe Reader and I don't recall what it was, but it seemed to have changed something. Now, I am unable to add my digital signatures. When I click on the signature field, I am able to select my Digital ID in the "Sign with a Digital ID" window, hit "Continue", but when I hit "Sign", nothing happens. How can I fix this? I've already reinstalled Adobe Reader but my problem still remains.
