2 signatures on one document
I am creating a PDF Form that requires MY signature and another persons signature. There are two signature fields and they are labaled as sender and signer. How do i get my signature on the form before "send to be signed" is used. Through testing i can only get one signature on the form and then it says it is complete. When i am editing and creating the form and i go to use the fill and sign tools there are no tools present on my screen that would allow me to do anything. no signature button, check mark button no nothing. I am using Adobe Acrobat DC
In Adobe X Standard, are both signing types available - password and non-password protected?
I'd like to know if both signing options are available in Adobe X Standard: Fill & Sign (not password protected) and Sign & Certify (password protected) using a digital ID
Thanks!!
Cannot commit signature
Hi there,
I'm having an issue with Adobe Acrobat 10 and 11. My user attempts to sign a pdf with an electronic signature. When asked to save and replace an error comes up that says, "There was an error when attempting to commit this signature. The document was not saved. The file may be read-only, or another user may have it open. Please save the document with a different name or in a different folder."
We know for certain that the file is not locked or being used by another person. I feel it has to do with saving back to a network drive. So my users open up the PDF files from a network drive, they then add the signature to it, and finally save it back to the network drive at the same location. They try to save and replace then this error comes up. I tried installing Acrobat 10 version to get it fixed. Try not updated Acrobat 11 to the latest update and that didn't work. I ran software repairs and complete reinstall of Acrobat software. None of these solutions have worked. Is there some sort of incompatibility with saving to network drives and Acrobat??
Please Help! Picture attached of the error message. My users are using Windows 7 64-bit Enterprise.
Can't remove a watermark that I added to a pdf file.
I added a watermark to a pdf file with vba using the addwatermarkfromtext() command and saved the file. After opening the file and trying to remove the watermark, Acrobat says it can't find a watermark to remove. Any reason why?
Have trouble signing signatures

How do I sign?
How do I get the actual signature to show in a document using XI?
Been using Adobe for years and with the new update to XI I am having a heck of a time getting the signature to show in the document. To check this I opened another document and was easily able to grab my signature and place it where I want.
For some reason the document I was sent allow for me to sign electronically, but when I choose to do so, I'm asked first to draw a box to where the signature is to be placed, then another dialog box opens asking for the file. I was not able to find a place to add a new signature by using the methods used previously. I have a signature in a file and has been used many times for other .pdf docs with zero issues.
Not sure why this doc is giving me issues. The document sent to me is showing its from Adobe 7.x! Not sure if that is the issue, as it could be the problem placing the signature.
Please advise to try and get this resolved.

How to place two signatures in two documents for the same signer?
I have a few documents need to send to a client to sign. Acrobat does not allow multiple documents and asked me to combine them which I did.
The signer needs to sign in say two places in two documents but the Send for Signature does not allow the same "Signature" in two places. The other one must be "Signature1" etc. How do I do it?
Signature" tool is missing from my" Acrobat DC
I just bought Acrobat DC about an hour ago. I'm going to be using it extensively to send documents to clients for signature. I had been using Acrobat XI Standard, but when I updated it last night the program froze every time I try to do anything in a document. That's a whole other story...
So I now open the document I was working on using Acrobat DC, and when I go to send it for signature, there seems to be no way to do that I went to the help section, and it tells me to open the "Send for Signature" tool, but there isn't any "Send for Signature" tool. What gives?
And I have to vent a little bit. I can't believe how lousy Adobe customer service is. The only way I can get help with software I purchased an hour ago is to go on to this forum. There is no chat help available. This whole experience has enough hours of my time, oh which means business for me. I was forced to buy a product I don't think that I really needed, and then there is no support for. I expected from a lesser company than Adobe, but I'm hugely disappointed to have to deal with this.

Signature not locking fields
I created a form in Acrobat XI Pro that locks (makes read-only) most of the fields when the requester signs. Those same fields and the requester's signature field gets locked when the approver signs. A requester removed their signature and edited the fields after the approver signed, without clearing the approver's signature. How is that possible and how can I ensure the fields are not alterable after approver's signature?
Acrobat Pro DC signature fields behaving like regular text boxes
I've created a new form in Acrobat Pro DC with four signature fields in addition to multiple text fields and check boxes. The signature fields all seem to be correctly formatted when I look at them in Acrobat Pro DC. I then save the form as a Reader Extended PDF so that the form data can be saved and printed. However, when I open the finished document, the form fields seem to be regular text boxes. They don't ask for a signature and there is no red icon like there used to be indicating a signature is required in that box. I do not want to send the document to anyone for a signature, customers must download it from our website. I never had any problems with signature fields in earlier versions of Acrobat. What could be going wrong here?
non savable pdfs
So, I have a client that wants a pdf that others will not be able to save or save as when they download it. I do not think that is possible but I have to ask to see. Thanks!

signature box
Recently, Adobe Acrobat X began restricting the size of the signature box I use to digitally sign my documents. Prior to this change, I could click and hold the cursor (which was cross shaped), drag to make a signature box of any dimension, let go of the mouse button and the signature would appear in the same size as the box. Now, when I left click the mouse button and begin to drag the cursor, the box jumps in predetermined increments, often times covering up text in the document. How to I regain control of being able to draw a box of any size, rather than one that jumps from one height/width to another?
