My network pc has signing set to 'Allowed' in Acrobat Reader 11 and I can digitally sign documents. Several others in my team have signing set to 'Not allowed' and are unable to digitally sign the same documents. My IT dept. have advised that they are unable to manually change the setting on the other PCs which seems strange or false to me but could be due to a number network related factors? Any tips I can provide my IT team that will help to resolve this?

HMRC won't allow me to enter data into a Corporation Tax submission because the signature is unknown?
I am attempting to complete a HMRC Corporation Tax submission on my laptop; but, the documents I have downloaded from the HMRC website indicate that the signature is unknown, and I can't proceed until the flag is removed from the signature strip. Any ideas how I can get the system to recognize the signature?
Reversing removal of sensitive content

Has any one else used SkySignature? What are the Pros and Cons vs EchoSign for Digital Signatures?
I've recently been using www.Skysignature.com for signing documents online. It is free to use so I find that a great plus. I have been considering Adobe Echosign but I am not sure if it is worth switching over? Has any one used both softwares? I am just wondering what are some benefits to switching over? Any other suggestions. Any input would be appreciated.

How do I get Acrobat DC send for signature to ask for sender's details?
So I tried to use Acrobat DC for the first time the other day to manage the signature of an agreement - a process which we've historically completed using the echosign web interface (including defining form fields, etc)
Despite setting up the fields as "required" and with the participant role "sender", at no point was I asked for them to be filled during the sending process (which at the time, was not unexpected, given we tend to use "they sign, then I sign" on echosign). However, when the customer signed the agreement, it was not sent back to me for signature, but was simply filed as "signed".
I have looked in other conversations in here relating to signature fields and see talk about supposedly being able to sign inside acrobat itself prior to sending (I don't want to do this, as we sign last!), but when I tried it, my signature field is simply treated as a text field by Acrobat.
Is the only way to handle sender signatures properly to continue using echosign web interface to send the documents?
TIA
Phil
Send Library Files for Signature from Desktop app
I have not found a way to "Send for Signature" using a file from the DC library from within the desktop Acrobat Pro DC. From the mobile app and the web GUI, you can choose a file from many sources, including the Library. But from the desktop, you can only choose a local file when using "Send for Signature". Once you have one file from local, then you can add one from the library, but there does not seem to be any way to just send one from the library by itself.
How can I password a pdf file?
Simple as above. Is there a way to do it without having to purchase software/license? I create Word and Excel documents and then post 'em on a web page; sometimes I need/want to password them. I can password the original docs easily with MSOffice but then in saving as .pdf files I lose the protection.

Hello, my question is my version of Adobe Acrobot Pro DC will not let me digitally sign documents. The document is locked by my client and won't let me sign. Could the problem be my version or the document itself?

signature doesn't sign document
It sometimes take 5 or 10 times to sign the document after logging into the signature login.
Signature is showing as a Black Box
Someone please help me figure this out! I took a PDF and tried to "Fill and Sign" the document but once I created a signature by typing and saved it, I dragged the rectangle box where I needed the signature and nothing showed up. When I reopen the PDF it now looks like a black box????? See screenshot below.
I am creating and signing a document in Acrobat X Pro, then others are signing/viewing the same document in Acrobat 9 or Reader XI and they do not see my signature. Why?

required initial fields - choose one of two options
I have a contract that will be sent to 1 or 2 signers. There is a section where either option A or option B needs to be initialed by one or both signers. If option A is selected, then option B should not be available to be initialed and vice versa. This section is required to be initialed before submitting. How do I format/code the initial box to achieve this?
How can I sign document without creating a certificate?
We are trying to figure out how to add a block for signatures on our contracts. We want to be able to open a PDF document, click the block and have an individual sign with a pen or finger on a tablet or signature pad. We don't want to create the electronic signature with certificates as they requires them to create an account, etc. Is there a signature box that can be added to a document for this purpose? Can we just open, scroll to, click and sign?
Signed Document Editing
I have a signed document that I need to edit/comment on. Acrobat tells me to save a copy, then open it and then annotate. When I do this, I still get the message that "its a signed document and I can't edit ". Any options?
Digital Signature Issues After Digital Signatures Update in XI Std.
Previously, I had been using an image to sign documents, which made the signature transparent and easy to modify. Someone sent a document which required a digital signatures update. Now my signature options are all messed up. When I insert, it now requires a digital signature, which I don't want. I finally found how to use an image, but it's not transparent. I went through a myriad of tutorials online, but the signature looks sloppy and is not easily modified. I cannot find a way to undo any of this and it's driving me mad. I don't care about making a digital signature for myself. I just want to insert a simple image of my signature that is transparent so it doesn't look some botched job in MS Paint. It worked like a charm before, but now it's completely terrible and makes me want to scream.
Every PDF I've opened since that update has forced signing a document to do it this way.
