I just purchased XI Standard. Had 8 Standard and was able to easily digitally sign all .pdf documents. Now with XI, I get error code: 2148073494 "Keyset does not exist." Searched web - found 2 recommended solutions - does not work. Can anyone help?

Signature Size
Seemingly unable to manipulate the dialog box to increase the signature size. As it stands the signature remains to small to read. Any suggestions?

How to "Hide signature field validity icon when signature is valid" in Acrobat 6 Standard?
I know how to "hide the signature field validity icon" in Acrobat 8 Pro, but just can't seem to find where to do it in Acrobat 6 Standard.

How can I make a more secure PDF?
I normally use password protection on PDFs that I send to clients as proofs where I only allow lo-resolution printing. I recently became aware of "PDF Unlock" and similar services that can remove these passwords with very little effort, whether the password is weak or very strong. Is there any additional layer of protection I can add to my PDFs short of requiring a password to open the file - it seems these cracks have a harder time with that - or am I stuck relying on my clients' hopeful lack of knowledge that this is possible? Thank you.

Electronic Signature not saved when saving PDF to network folder
Having an issue with PDFs that are saved to the server with an electronic signature. After inserting the signature, the PDF is then saved to network. While the file is still open, the signature is still visable. Once the file is closed, and re-opened, the signature is no longer there. I clicked in the spot where the signature should have been just to be certain that it's not invisible or that text color is white.
If the file is created and saved locally, then copied to the network, the signature will appear.
The PDF files are created from Excel files using the File, Save As PDF option.
The enduser states that it was working until a few weeks ago. Not sure what changed. If she was upgraded from X to XI.
Also states that the options to add the signature were different (which leads me to believe that the version was upgraded).
I tried creating a shortcut to the network folder on her desktop, then open the file from there, then save it. This worked once but not again. Doesn't sound like it would be a network issue.

Bonjour,
J'ai depuis plusieurs jours à l'ouverture d'Acrobat Professional 8, un message qui apparait sur mon écran sic "Voulez-vous que l'application Adobe Acrobat Professional.app accepte les connexions réseau entrantes ? Je clique à chaque apparition des cet encart sur "Autoriser" rien ne change.
J'ai également déjà été dans les préférences du système de Mac dans "Sécurité et confidentialité" dans l'onglet "Coupe-feu" cocher "Autoriser automatiquement les logiciels signés à recevoir des connexions entrantes" pour Adobe Acrobat Professional - Autoriser les connexions entrantes, j'ai également déjà annulé, supprimé, ajouté cette autorisation, rien ne change.
J'ai également déjà désinstallé tout Acrobat 8 Professionnal et réinstallé l'application, à l'ouverture d'Acrobat, j'ai toujours à l'écran cette petite fenêtre qui m'affiche une alerte…!
Pouvez-vous m'aider à résoudre ce problème afin que n'apparaisse plus cette alerte qui surgit à chaque démarrage ?

PDF Security
I have a Macbook Pro OS X 10.8.4. I am using Acrobat 9.0 and my printer is an Epson Stylus Photo 1900. I set up a password on one document and now the printer dialogue shows a locked PDF symbo and I cannot print PSD OR JPEG files. I am able to open my pdf document with my password, but still am not able to print. Has anyone experienced this?

Apply Ink Signature
I am using Windows 7 & Acrobat XI. When I opened the form, clicked "Extended" -> "Apply Ink Signature", the cross-hair cursor showed up, but nothing was displayed when I drew on the form. Strangely, sometimes, after a few minutes or so, I tried drawing on the form again, and this time, it worked. But when I tried to drag or resize the signature, nothing happened.
I also tried clicking "Place Signature". The message "Using your mouse, click and drag to draw the area where you would like the signatue to appear.. ..." is displayed. When I clicked the mouse on the form, the message "A signature was not created. To sign the document hold down the mouse button and drag out the area of the document in which you would like the signature to appear." popped up. Every time I clicked the mouse, this message appeared over and over again.
Is there anyone experiencing the same problems? Any solutions?

Signature is not LTV enabled (Adobe Reader)
Hi,
I'm trying to produce the PAdES-LTV signatures. I've added the Signer's chain, TSA chain and its revocation information into DSS. But Adobe Reader and Acrobat says "Signature is not LTV enabled". When i right click on the signature field and "Add Verification Information" option is clicked and file is saved, still Adobe Reader says "Signature is not LTV enabled". We are adding OCSP Response for the signer's certificate and for the rest of the chain CRLs are used as revocation information. OCSP responder revocation is added in the form of CRL. OCSP Responder's certificate doesn't contain No-Checkextension.
There is one case when Adobe Reader says "Signature is LTV enabled" when OCSP Responder's certificate has No-Check extension.
Can anyone explain what's missing and Adobe Reader says "Signature is not LTV enabled"?

Electronic signature in merged documents?
I am trying to create a new document using multiple files. Some of these files contain electronic signatures. Can the electronic signatures be preserved in the merged document?

Can't sign document with desired signature
Open PDF document and go to where I want to sign.
Click on Sign Document and draw box for signature. Sign document box opens.
The Sign as shows a signature that I created for my daughter. I click on the drop down and there is a signature with my name. This is the one I want so I click on it.
If looks good so I click on Sign - nothing happens. I can sign as my daugther but that doesn't help. There is also a signature that shows my name as my email address but I don't want that either.
1. How do I get rid of the signature that is my email address?
2. How do I get the signature I want to work?
Running Adobe Acrobat 10.1.8 on a windows 7 32-bit workstation.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Can a company share the same Digital ID?
Hi,
I'm trying to get to grips with how Adobe's Digital ID encryption works.
I have a document that I send out regularly to clients that needs protecting and I believe that the pubic/private encryption key is the best thing.
I have a question: Can a company or several computers share the same Digital ID? For example, I usually work on my main computer but occassionally if I'm travelling I have to use my laptop to send out the document etc. Can multiple computers share the same ID? If so, how do I do this? I don't want to have set everybody up on my main computer and then my laptop etc... my clients won't be happy.

Cannot draw signature box in Acrobat XI
When we try to sign a PDF using Acrobat XI Standard we get the popup box below telling us to create a box for the signature to appear in. The problem here is that is exactly what we are trying to do when this box comes up. We click the signature tool and get the cross-hairs cursor...as soon as we click to hold in the document this box appears and doesn't give us a chance to drag an create the box.
We have verified the digial ID to sign with is installed correctly.

File size increases 100 times after digitally signing
Hi,
I am using Acrobad 10.1.1. on a Windows 7 machine. When I digitally sing the document, the size increases from 30kb to 3Mb. In the past, with Acrobad 9, the size increased to only 100kb.
What could be the reason for this and how could I reduce the size to 100kb again?

Acrobat 11: How do I prevent edits to page content, but allow page extraction?
I want users to be able to extract pages, but not edit the page content. The security settings don't allow this, but maybe someone has a work-around.

Unable to remove LiveCycle rights with custom actions
Hello
I've a problem with the action wizard in Acrobat Pro.
I'd like to remove the LiveCycle right from a PDF. My right is so that I'm allowed to change everything but with such a protection I'm unable to load those on the iPad, so I'would like to remove them.
Manually I can remove the right with the "Remove Security" in the Secure menu, but when I'd like to remove them with a batch process, but there it doesn't work anymore.
I followed the instruction from an older Post http://blogs.adobe.com/acrobatforlifesciences/2010/04/removing_securit y_from_pdfs_in/ but doesn't work either.
Can someone explaine me the right steps to remove the LiveCycle Right with an custom action?

How valid are the signatures on documents created in PDF
I was wondering if they can be used the same as a signature on a document. Would they be just as legal?

Our organization is creating fillable forms using adobe xi pro. Up unti now we have had the user print pdf files from out website, complete and mail in, including parent/guardian signature and student signature. If we include signature fields in the form, how does one know if the person who sbmitted the "signed" form is really a parent or guardian. Anyone can create a digital id with the instructions adobe provides. and then complete the form. I am curious if any other members of the forum have this situation and how they solved it.
