What product I need and how do I set-up the Certificates?

Do I need Certificates from third party (eg: Entrust) or I can generate them?

The costs are per user or per workstation?

Thank you.

Sign icon never populates the options submenu

I fairly recently went to Acrobat Pro DC after using X for years.  This is the first time I've tried to sign a document in DC.  Did this all the time in X.

The documentation indicates that once I go to the Fill & Sign tool, I should be able to select the "Sign" icon which will provide a submenu to then proceed with importing my signature image.  However, when I select the Sign icon, all I see are 4 boxes beneath it that alternate from grey to blue like it's thinking about doing something.  But it never gets there.  Also, in the far right window pane is the phrase "Retrieving your information...".  I'm not sure what information it seems to be having trouble retrieving.  I'm logged in as indicated by my name appearing in the upper right hand corner.

Size automatic recognized signature field

I have made a Google Docs document which has to be signed.
With some underline and the text "signature" beneath it, the signature field is recognized automatically by Acrobat as a signature field.

But the height is very low. Is is possible to make it automatically higher?

Thanks in advance

Sseveral users who have to re-create their digital signature daily. They didn't used to have to do this

Hello, I have several users who have to re-create their digital signature in Adobe Pro XI daily. They didn't used to have to do this. We have other users who not use a root certificate. This is also when the digital signature users started having issues. I'm told the two are not related. Has anyone run into this and have a fix? Thank you.

Starting with 2017 my signed PDF documents are not valid anymore! (AATL error?)

Hello forum members,

my company bought personal certificates from a member of the AATL. They were bought from Certum. We sign our PDF documents with those certificates. Adode Reader displayed a correct validation of those signatures in 2016. When those PDF documents are reopened again today, Adobe Reader displays a warning message. It seems that if Certum CA is technically not in Adobe Readers AATL anymore. Certificate chain is valid, as shown in Adobe Readers detailed view. The SHA1-Digest of the Certum CA root certificate is 62 52 DC 40 F7 11 43 A2 2F DE 9E F7 34 8E 06 42 51 B1 81 18.

Can anyone check, why my companys documents are not validated anymore?

I unchecked Enable Protected Mode at Startup and now pdfs always open maximized. How to fix?

Was getting 523 errors when trying to open pdf's this morning and the solution I found online was:

Edit/Preferences/Security(Enhanced)/ uncheck Enable Protected Mode at startup

This worked in eliminating the 523 errors but now pdfs always open maximized no matter how I set preferences for Acrobat to remember last view...

Any suggestions or workaround to get around this problem...

Thanks for your help,

Don

Is there a difference between eSign / Adobe Sign and the esignature tool offered through Acrobat DC?

Currently an enterprise Adobe Sign subscriber, but I see no reason not to move everyone to an Acrobat DC account if the signature service offers the same functionality - we'd be getting so much more for the money.  Any thoughts?

We have a department that wants to have a fillable form available on our website for the general public. Anyone can download the form, fill out the form and then email it back. Because the form could contain private information, I am looking for a way to have the form sent back securely.

What is the best way to have a confidential document locked until it is signed?

We work in real estate and our offering packages contain sensitive financial info, so we would like to include as the first page of the offering pacakage, a confidentiality agreement with a required signature field. When we send to interested parties, they would ideally be prompted to sign the agreement and then the complete document would become accessible. In other words, they would only see the CA (confi agreement) when they first open the attachment and once they sign, they will see the remainder of the document. So one attachment will include both CA and offering package. What would be the best way to achieve this? I should also mention that we need the signed CA saved for our records. Any help is appreciated.

Thank you very much!

Digital signature only prompts for password with multiple pdf's open.

Hello everyone,

I am currently experiencing an issue where when placing a digital signature we get prompted for a password even with the timeout set to never. This only happens if we have multiple pdf's open at one time. When signing a single pdf there is no prompt for a password. This is using Adobe Acrobat Pro on a Windows 7 machine.

Things I've tried so far:

- Manually changed the timeout to manual, then back to never

- Completely removed the signature (design/.pfx etc...) and recreated

- Complete reinstall of acrobat, all updates completed

So far nothing has resolved this, if anyone has any insight it would be much appreciated!

Thanks!
