How do I sign a PDF with a certificate using Acrobat Reader DC? This works fine in Adobe Reader XI.
Using Acrobat Reader XI I can sign a PDF document with a Digital Certificate. After updating to Acrobat Reader DC I can't figure out how to do this. I see where I can sign with an image of mu signature, but how do I sign with a certificate?

Adobe Validation Testing Pop-up
I've been using Adobe Acrobat Pro for over a year and ever since I updated to Windows 10 I keep getting a pop-up window everytime I open a pdf
-- "Adobe validation testing has found this copy of Acrobat is not genuine."

Allow page extraction without allowing metadata modification
We would like our clients to be able to extract pages ("Page Extraction") from a document without being able to modify the document's metadata ("Changing the Document"). How can the document security be set up in this way?

PDF download link that expires after one use?
I need to find a way to make a link inside a PDF (Created in Acrobat Pro DC) that expires after one use. The PDF is downloaded after a customer buys an interactive quiz. The PDF is solely to provide customers with a link ( that's cloaked by ) that will take them to the quiz. I don't want them to share with friends, reusing, ect. I need that link to expire for THAT download only. I need the same PDF to work to deliver the same link to other customers when they buy the quiz, or for the same customer if they want to come back and buy one for a friend using the same computer. Any ideas out there on how to do that or if it is even possible? Thanks in advance for your time.

Is there a software that can be integrated into Adobe Acrobat Reader?
I would like to send E-Mails and attach PDF files that have a signature on them to ensure that it can be tracked back from our Company.
I would like a digital signature that is a long number code, with a date and time stamp. But is there a way to add a software generated signature?
What other ways would there be to use PDFs and create vouchers that have a one time signature on them?
Our Hotel would greatly appreciate tipps!

Adobe Reader not allowing for form signature?
I have created a form with Adobe LiveCycle Designer with a number of digital signature fields. When this form is opened with Adobe Reader it is not allowing for the signatures to be filled in it is posting a error messages "The security settings on the document prevent adding text and/or placing a signature on it from Adobe Reader".
What have I done incorrectly?

Need to massively convert to PDF and sign documents
Dear Sirs
I need to automate a process to be given to company non-techie users in order to:
- convert a bunch of files to PDF/A-1b format
- digitally sign the created PDFs
The aim is to give them a one-click procedure.
I succeeded in creating an action to convert an entire source folder containing several kind of docs (word, excels, images) and save the newly created PDFs in a destination folder.
I made several tests to digital sign those documents, but the best I was able to do is to insert the "Certificates" tool into the action. The thing is I need to insert the password for any document and the process gives errors.
I'm attaching some images to show the various steps.
1) this is the newly created action
2) When I run the action, I'm asked to provide the certificate and its password
3) the document looks signed, but I need to click on the "Proceed" label in the bottom right
4) then this error appears. Looks like the signed document cannot be converted to PDF/A
Please advise

Digital ID Signature Certificate on Android
Is there a way to use/create/import a digital ID certificate and be able to sign PDFs on an Android smartphone? I have looked at the Fill and Sign and Adobe Sign, but that just adds some fancy text or uses your finger to add a signature; which I don't want. I need to know if there is a way to use a certificate/digital ID on a mobile device.

I signed a pdf and sent it to the other party, they signed and now my signature is invalid. Report shows Error 1002 "form may silently change".
I signed a pdf contract and sent it to the other party, they signed and now my signature is invalid showing error 1002 "form may silently change".
We signed with Docusign, our signature was not LTV-enabled.
They signed with Dotloop signature was LTV-Enabled.

Here is the Appearance Integrity Report, The Error Code 1008* appeared in the document we signed and sent, but Error 1002 is new and description is "Comment or form field may silently change"

The problem is we didn't get the signed portion back until 05/03/2016 which at that date would have voided our contract. They are insisting the document was signed the date of 04/15/2016 and they dropped it off to my attorney on 04/26/2016. My attorney has no record of this.
* I didn't create the document so I really have no idea why Error 1008 (hidden field) would show up in the report, I do know that it's consistent in both documents where 1002 is not.

Can you programmatically add a password to a document? For example: After a user signs a document, a script adds a password and saves it as a new file.

This way, after the user has signed the document, only people with the password can view it. I want to do this programmatically maybe with Javascript?

I understand how to place the signature boxes on a document. Using the distribute method how can I send it out to receive multiple signatures - one person signs then it automatically goes to the next signee. Is this possible?

Acobat DC Forms that Require Signatures Between Multiple Parties
Hello!
I hope someone can guide me through the steps of how to create the form I need. I can't find the tutorial that does this, although I'm sure this is a common need.
Here's what I need to happen:
1) I create the form with fields for both our company and two other parties to sign (husband and wife).
2) Our representatives need to fill out some of the fields ahead of time prior to sending to the parties.
3) Form is sent out to them and they are directed to fill out the fields and both sign.
4) We are alerted that they signed the form, go back into it and sign our signature. Then send it out to both parties and keep a copy for ourselves.
Also, can someone direct me to a tutorial that explains the uses of the different fields? Title field, Company field, Name field, Email field, etc. What is the advantage of using those vs. just adding a field that you format a certain way? Are they tied to the signatures?

Applying digital signature to multiple pdfs
We have been provided, by our client, an action which will create a signature field in multiple pdfs. Is there a way to create a similar action which will populate that signature field with a digital signature that is located on my machine, sort of like a batch process? Clicking the field and then placing the correct signature on hundreds of pdfs will take a considerable amount of time. It may be helpful to note that I have minimal Javascript experience.
