Setting up an ID server

$

We're looking to take some forms digital but want to make sure we can verify that the signatures on them really are those of the person they purport to be rather than someone creating a signature using someone else's name. It appears that a signature server would be best for this (if not, please correct me). However, nobody here is sure how to set one up. How do we go about this?

Unable to set up an electronic signature after setting up a digital signature in Adobe Xi

My colleagues are working in Adobe Xi and have set up a digital signature instead of an electronic signature.

Unfortunately, after trying multiple things I am not able to reset the digital signature in order for Adobe to give me the option to "Use an image".

The only option left is to make a new digital ID and signature.

Is there any way to make the "use an image" reappear?

Thank you,

Hannah

Is there a way to stop Adobe Acrobat from automatically adding fields when I am using "Send for signatures - prepare"

When I select "Send for signatures" and then "prepare field" - it tries to auto create fields but it doesn't create what I need where I need them - is there a way to make it stop auto creating fields? Cause I then have to go through and delete them.

Thanks.

E-signature (or ecosign.. or whatever its called) is shrinking my text size after I send the file for signatures.

I use adobe to create a contract then just populate the figures differently each time. Issue is I create the document and all the text fonts are the same size but once I send it with e-signature (or ecosign.. or whatever its called) the figures get shrunk so small the customer cant read them.

The first pic is what I create to send my customers and the second one is what my customers are recieving. How/Why is the font size being changed?

Multiple digital signatures

I am trying to create a document that can be certified as ready for review and signing and then circulated for multiple signatures .

The document( a standard operating procedure ) must reviewed and signed by 5 or 6 people and I have to be able to prove it has not been changed other than being signed but I can't figure out how to make signing the form fields as an allowable action.

Here is what I'm doing now

create document in word and convert it to a pdf in adobe acrobat 8 pro on windows xp
in the form menu click create new form
click through and use the current document to create form
In Live Cycle designer I :
Add the digital signature fields
then I'm lost

This seem the closest to what i want to do but this seems to complicated
http://www.adobe.com/devnet/livecycle/articles/multiple_sigs_tip.html

I don't think I need a policy server but I'm not sure.

I just need to invalidate signatures if someone uses acrobat to edit the document text and images after it has been certified and/or certified and signed.

Thanks

John

I frequently send formal document to federal agencies. I use a digital signature, which is actually a picture that I paste onto the document before I PDF it. I secure the document so that the document can only be printed or read.  However, it turns out that my signature can be selected, copied, and pasted. Can anyone help?

I used to be able to "sign" documents with a graphic signature (jpeg file). Suddenly the program will only accept a digital signature which requires a long process to achieve. How do I go back to signing with my graphic signature?

Need to multi-sign several engineering drawings by several users

What should I use so that users can multi-sign PDF engineering drawings that have as many as 3 different digital-signature fields per PDF?  There is one drawing per PDF, and up to 1000 drawings in a drawing set.  Project Manager signs the most (all drawings).  The Acrobat-compliant signature fields are generated by MicroStation.

Has anyone had problems with portfolio files holding digitally signed documents?

When I create or browse such a portfolio file on my 64-bit Windows 7 system, it freezes (crashes). This still happens after a fresh reinstall of Acrobat DC. Some others on our company network have the same problem on similar Windows 7 systems.

Our IT folks scanned the system logs and see that the problem always occurs when the Acrobat pluging DigSig.api is being invoked somehow. Here is the log output:

I bought a textbook from my school online. it is a pdf file that requires adobe acrobat reader dc on my mac. When I try to open it on adobe acrobat on my ipad, I can't sign in like I did on the computer. There's no option for preferences for me to allow myself to put in a username and password to unlock the document.

I cannot sign pdfs. Previously, I was able to select place signature and type name and sign. Now it does not give any other other than using a digital id. I do not want to set up a digital id or sign this way. I am using adobe acrobat xi pro.

Adobe Pro blacking out secure signature

Hi

I am a realtor and use Adobe Pro DC and a program through our mls called Authentisign.

I had a  document that was signed through authentisign and when printed on both my office and home computers would black out the signature.

When other people printed it, it would print correctly.

In doing some research, there was a similar issue on an adobe forum where the person was told to print as image--so I did.  It worked.

What would be causing the signatures to be blacked out?  I have printed other documents created from the same program, and have never had an issue.

When printing, you can go to advanced and it looks as if a black sheet of paper is put over the document.  When you print as image, there is nothing blocking the document.

Anyone have any ideas?  At least I have a work-around, but as I have said I haven't had any issues in the past.

Thank you all for your help!
